9wd8o0K.

It’s one of their all-time favourites. I can see why. Unassuming in appearance with outstanding service and food! We had ordered ahead requesting the Peking Duck. It did not disappoint. Frankly not certain what...else we had as I just let them order. What I can say is that every dish was incredibly tasty!MoreDate of visit February 2023Helpful?This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We needed a break from French/French-Canadian cooking even though we love it a lot and spotted this store-front Chinese restaurant at 27, rue Ste-Angele in Vieux-Quebec. We walked in not knowing what to expect. The restaurant was neat and clean, decorated with...paintings and prints by various artists including one in particular that caught my wife's eye. But we're not here to talk about the restaurant's paintings, let's talk about the food, at least about the food we had, and it's worth talking about. We ordered won ton soup, chicken fried rice, and sweet-and-sour chicken. Not exotic fare, but solid comfort food on a chilly Sunday night. Everything was delicious, portions were generous, price was appropriate, and if our order could be viewed as representative of the quality of the restaurant's other offerings, then everything else on the menu would probably be just as good. Service was courteous and friendly. Read our transparency report to learn September 24, 2020 Well, my boyfriend and I were on vacation and wanted to try a good Chinese restaurant and this restaurant was like 1 block away from our hotel and when we reviewed the reviews from here we were hesitant because clearly some people are demanding, but...I made the decision to go and guess what! I was beyond surprised, the duck and chicken were delicious omg!!!!!!!! and I am a poultry lover, the food was delicious!! I would go back and have those meals. The gentleman who serviced us was very kind and patient to us. Plus it is a BYOW so we were having a great time. The only thing is that I notice perhaps not too many people go these days, it looked a bit empty, they could try a nice incense or something like that to attract more customers. Since I am not a fuzzy kinda person I do not really mind but i know others will, the place was clean and the food was delicious and I totally recommend it!!More Date of visit September 2020Helpful?This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. But this time I have to say the restaurant is the worst that I have tried in my entire life. The food portion is small, disgusting and service makes me feel like the waiter hates me....I’m a Chinese and I really don’t want Chinese food to be presented in such a bad way. We were refused take out and the owner rudely sent us out and told us to come back at 9. We asked why and he said he had no time and raised his voice and motioned us away. The restaurant was not busy,...we were not offered to sit and eat in. When my boyfriend asked him why he did not want to serve us he got upset and called the police and yelled at my boyfriend. It was humiliating. There were customers in the restaurant so it became very tense. This man is the rudest person I have ever met in Quebec. We came here for a nice relaxing vacation and were enjoying our evening until we came to this restaurant. Shame on you. We will never set foot in your awful establishment again. Read our transparency report to learn April 1, 2017 via mobile My brother referred that restaurant to us and described it as a 'hands down' experience food quality. Well, total fail. First of all, the Maitre D booked a large Noisy group that completely ruined the ambiance for every other tables. The entree soup was terrible....The group was so loud for such a small restaurant size that we had to leave to a different one. Most surprising and deceiving, the Maitre D forced us to pay for those terrible soup that we barely tasted and even got angry and unpleasant to us. Yes, it was a bit expensive at + tip, but it was really good Chinese food!...Looks like the locals liked it too. There was a huge party of young people who came in while we were there. The restaurant was cozy on a dark and stormy night, the service was awesome, and appeared to be family run.
